Gems and Stones and Bones
Gems and Stones and Bones
November 27, 2011

Lets see...September, October, and November have gone by without one blog entry from me. It is time! Time to catch up on a few of the projects the kids made this past fall. Color and fun!

In September the kids made a lot of nature projects. The three and four year olds made some lovely nature collages.

Using salt dough, rocks, shells, and beads their creations came together.

Three collages. Done!

October is such a festive month. In celebration of the Day of the Dead, the kids made these colorful muslin dolls.

Ribbon, fabric, paint, and pencil. A perfect keepsake!

In October, the kids also made these glorious shrines. Wood, ceramics, rocks, beads, buttons, shells, glitter, fabric, and a statue were used in creating them.

Painting. Love.

During their creative shrine break, the kids made delicious protein balls. Using peanut butter, cornflakes, hemp seed, oats, honey, protein powder, and vanilla they made a pretty healthy snack.

Protein Power!

Finished!

In November the the kids made these whimsical gnomes inspired by Fem Manuales.

Paper mache, paint, and adorable black and white photos of each artist. A great project!

In December...you will get to see all the great holiday projects the kids will make. This great group made some pretty amazing ornaments. Stay tuned to the December/January blog to see them.

Looking forward to lots of art time through the Winter! Please remember that if your child brings a new friend to Moonbugs, you will receive 50% off a Moonbugs session.

Happy Holidays!
